[Live-demo] FOSS4G 2010 Call for Abstracts (Update March 2010)

As announced a couple of days back, FOSS4G 2010 has put out a call for 
abstracts, and I think we have a very compelling abstract that we, the 
LiveDVD community should present.

In particular, as mentioned in previous threads, I think we should put 
forward a "Lightening Overview of all packages on the LiveDVD". (This 
would be close to an overview of the OSGeo stack and FOSS4G conference).

I'm hoping that we can make this a 60 minute speach, which would allow ~ 
60 secs for each application on the LiveDVD, plus a brief overview for 
each section (servers, desktops, etc).

I'll put this together into a wiki page and invite comment.

We are pleased to announce that the deadline for Abstract submissions 
(General and Academic Sessions) _*has been postponed to April 15th, 
2010!!*_


    General Sessions

FOSS4G presentations are 25 minute talks, with a 5 minute question and 
answer session at the end. Presentations cover aspects of the use or 
development of open source geospatial software. Anyone can can submit a 
presentation proposal and take part in the conference as a speaker.

    Academic Sessions

The FOSS4G 2010 academic track aims to bringing together researchers, 
developers, users and practitioners carrying out research and 
development in the geospatial and the free and open source fields and 
willing to share original and recent research developments and experiences.
