Frank,<br>We are asking all projects to have their documentation and install scripts in place for OSGeo-Live by 31 Jan (in 1 week) to allow translators to start translating.<br><br>Can you, or one of your GDAL users please help us with creating of the GDAL docs as per:<br>

GDAL is already installed as a dependency for a bunch of other<br>
applications(QGIS, GRASS, rgdal...) and a separate script would be as<br>
simple as:<br>
apt-get install gdal-bin libgdal1-1.7.0 python-gdal<br>
dans-gdal-scripts(optional)<br>
<br>
So what we really need is a 1 page overview and a quickstart showing<br>
some common commandline usage with links to the gdal documentation that<br>
ships. I think we may have included the html docs that mirror the<br>
website in past versions.<br>
