I managed to find the issue, it is permissions in the webapps
directory.<br>

the LiveDVD there a simple timing issue that made it seem as if
Geomajas was not correctly installed. It started FireFox while
Geomajas was still starting up, and so gave an error message.
Have you tried waiting a bit longer and than visiting the URL in
firefox?<br>

The problem is on startup. I am sending you the startup
log. There is a message about "No JSP support for
/showcase".<br>

GeoMajas seems to install, there are startup links on the
desktop.<br>

When we do a build, we start almost from scratch, we just
have a preinstalled Xubuntu virtual machine ready with
updates.<br>
