Alan, Cameron,<br><br>I am willing to help out with updating the install script, or rather the package.<br>I'd prefer doing this in the debian git repository (in a seperate branch), so changes would be available for a future debian package as well (hence debian gis in cc:).<br>
This being said: it's a complicated package (different mapscript bindings), and since it's a server package quality should be good, so help (even if it is only reviewing) would certainly be appreciated.<br><br>From the history file ( <a href="https://svn.osgeo.org/mapserver/branches/branch-6-0/mapserver/HISTORY.TXT">https://svn.osgeo.org/mapserver/branches/branch-6-0/mapserver/HISTORY.TXT</a> ) I don't think that updating 6.0.0 to 6.0.1 after the feature freeze should pose any problems. Certainly not a reason to postpone updating the package.<br>

Hi Cameron: What's your timeline looking like? I would imagine there will be a 6.0.1 before too long and that would be the version we'd want to use. I'd like to think we could get the other pieces ready ahead of that release.<br>
