2. Is it required for the demo?<br>
3. Is there a work around for not using it?<br>
4. Does it follow a current known licence (such as Creative
Commons or GPL)? If so, what is it?<br>

Just reviewing some licenses and notice that SRTM restricted non-free and commercial use.
But since SRTM (elevation data) would be used by most other OSGeo apps anyway, I figured that wouldn't be a problem, but thought I should check.
