<p>Hi Etienne, <br>
</p>
<p>thanks a lot for looking at the german lizmap-mailinglist! <br>
</p>
<p>I see the landing page of lizmap with two demo projects (when
logged in there are three), but I can't load and display the
maps. <br>
</p>
<p>In the lizmapConfig.ini.php I have changed the URL for QGIS
server to <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://myserver/cgi-bin/qgis_mapserv.fcgi">https://myserver/cgi-bin/qgis_mapserv.fcgi</a>? ("myserver"
in this mail replaces the actual server name; remark "https" - the
QGIS server runs with port 443) and the result in the
administration panel, server information, is the following: <br>
</p>
<h3>QGIS Server</h3>
<p>QGIS Server is correctly installed and returns the expected
response for OGC requests.</p>
<p> <b>We cannot get the details about your QGIS Server
installation (version, plugins, etc.).</b><br>
</p>
<p>You must check that the following steps are done :</p>
<ol>
<li><strong>QGIS Server</strong> is above or equal to <strong>3.28
<font color="#df0000">is 3.40.8<br>
</font></strong></li>
<li>The <strong>Lizmap QGIS server plugin</strong> is installed
on the server with a version above or equal to <strong>2.13.0 <font
color="#df0000">is true<br>
</font></strong></li>
<li>The URL to reach QGIS server is <strong>correct</strong> in
your administration panel <font color="#df0000">probably true
since it says above "QGIS Server is correctly installed..."</font></li>
<li>The URL to reach the Lizmap API on QGIS Server is <strong>correct</strong>
in your administration panel, if you use Py-QGIS-Server <font
color="#df0000">maybe the URL is wrong, but I don't know </font><font
color="#df0000">how to access this tag or </font><font
color="#df0000">where I can modify it and what is correct. I
don't use py-qgis-server. </font><br>
</li>
<li>Your Lizmap Web Client <strong>logs</strong> does not contain
any warnings about reaching QGIS server <font color="#df0000">see
below</font><br>
</li>
<li>The <strong>environment variable</strong> about the <strong>Lizmap
server plugin</strong> described in the documentation link
below is correctly set in your configuration <font
color="#df0000">The conf-file in /etc/apache2/sites-available
contains the tag FcgidInitialEnv
QGIS_SERVER_LIZMAP_REVEAL_SETTINGS True</font><br>
</li>
<li>Your QGIS server <strong>logs</strong> does not contain any
warnings about the Lizmap server plugin (at QGIS server startup
and when loading this webpage). You might need to increase debug
level. <br>
</li>
</ol>
<p></p>
<p>The errors.log says: <br>

<p>The lizmap-admin.log says: <br>

<p>2025-07-01 13:44:07 137.248.191.3 lizmapadmin An HTTP
request ended with an error, please check the main error log. HTTP

2025-07-01 13:44:07 137.248.191.3 lizmapadmin QGIS server
minimum 3.28 and Lizmap QGIS server plugin minimum 2.13.0 need to
be installed and configured correctly. Your QGIS server couldn't
be reached correctly with the given URL
<a class="moz-txt-link-rfc2396E" href="https://myserver/cgi-bin/qgis_mapserv.fcgi?">"https://myserver/cgi-bin/qgis_mapserv.fcgi?"</a>.<br>
</p>
<p>The qgis.demo.error.log says: <br>
</p>
<p><ServerException>Project file error. For OWS services:
please provide a SERVICE and a MAP parameter pointing to a valid
QGIS project file</ServerException><br>
So I changed the QGIS Server URL to
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://myserver/cgi-bin/qgis_mapserv.fcgi?SERVICE=WMS&MAP=/var/www/lizmap-web-client-3.8.11/lizmap/lizmap-modules/lizmapdemo/qgis-projects/demoqgis/montpellier.qgs">https://myserver/cgi-bin/qgis_mapserv.fcgi?SERVICE=WMS&MAP=/var/www/lizmap-web-client-3.8.11/lizmap/lizmap-modules/lizmapdemo/qgis-projects/demoqgis/montpellier.qgs</a> </p>
<p>But it didn't work. <br>
</p>
<p>I suppose, there are several mistakes in the configuration. For
example I don't know, which files must be accessible by www-data.
One of our certificate files for https is protected by a
passphrase. I have no idea if this has an impact. <br>
</p>
<p>Any hint might be helpful. Thank you very much in advance. <br>
</p>
<p>Best wishes, <br>
</p>

<p>Hi,</p>
<p>In your administration panel, visit the "Lizmap configuration"

<p>I don't think it's related to Apache/Nginx, at this step.</p>

<p>Hallo zusammen, <br>
</p>
<p>ich habe unter Ubuntu 22 QGIS-Server 3.40.8, apache2 und
Lizmap QGIS-Server Plugin 3.8.11 installiert.
Meldung (siehe Anhang Serverinfo_lizmap.png): </p>
<p>QGIS Server is not correctly installed in your server or the
URL for OGC requests given in Lizmap configuration is not
correct. <br>
</p>
<p>Die Datei lizmap.conf ist in der Anleitung der Lizmap-Doku
leider nur für nginx angegeben. Deshalb habe ich sie mir mit
einer KI für apache2 ummodeln lassen. Möglicherweise ist da
etwas falsch. Aber was? Der Inhalt meiner lizmap.conf ist im
Anhang 2025_06_26 17h lizmap.conf.txt (die IP-Adresse bei
Servername und hinter fcgi habe ich für diese Frage mit Text
ersetzt). <br>
</p>
<p>Ich würde mich freuen, wenn mir jemand weiterhelfen könnte,
auch wenn wir schon bald unser Online-Treffen haben. <br>
</p>
<p>Schöne Grüße, <br>
