Hello Local Chapter Chairs & anyone who might know,

I've been asked whether I (as OSGeo:UK Chair) / we (as OSGeo:UK)
can write a letter of support for a UK University of a research
      bid?

There are a few details below, and I wondered what other local
chapters did. My inclination is to say yes. The people/group are
very good and know what they are doing, and have done work in open
      source software before.

What do you think? Any comments (including 'I don't know'!) are
      welcome :-)

Best wishes,
