<font size="3">un proyecto de dos años de la Comisión Europea para desarrollar aplicaciones inteligentes basadas en los datos de
<a href="http://www.earthobservations.org/geoss.php" target="_blank">GEOSS</a> (Global Earth Observation System of Systems) que sirvan para informar a los ciudadanos de los cambios en el mediambiente ha lanzado su Tercera (y última) convocatoria para aplicaciones
innovadoras (para móviles y web) que exploten los datos abiertos o la VGI para satisfacer las necesidades de los usuarios.<br>

Los datos abiertos pueden ser los de <a href="https://www.earthobservations.org/geoss_dsp.shtml" target="_blank">
GEOSS Data-CORE</a>, datos abiertos de otros proyectos financiados por la UE u otros datos.<br>
<br>
El centro de atención de esta convocatoria está en desarrollar aplicaciónes que sean relevantes para Europa y que proporcionen información cuatitativa o cualitativa sobre el cambio climático o sus consecuencias. También pueden abordarse temas relacionados con
el medioambiente o temas sociales a escala geográfica.<br>

<div class="WordSection1"><font face="Arial">El primer premio será contratado por el JRC por un máximo de 13 500 euros para desarrollar la aplicación y alcanzar el estado de primera
<i>release</i> pública en tres meses. Se espera que los todos ganadores presenten su aplicación en el GEO Plenary meeting en San Petersburgo (7/10 de noviembre de 2016). Se pagará el viaje para una persona por cada equipo ganador.<br>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"" lang="EN-US">La convocatoria se lanza el
<b>15 de marzo</b>, la fecha límite para presentar el concepto, un prototipo o un documento descriptivo del caso de uso es el
<b>8 de abril</b> y la notificación a los seleccionados será el <b>22 de abril</b>.<br>
