Hey,
I picked this up on the OGC lists. Maybe someone is interested in
implementing this, there might be some funding in the upcoming OGC WOS-6
testbed. I know we have also been doing some things in this respect so
maybe its not that big an effort.

Best regards,
Arnulf.

Raj,
With Mapbuilder we had not completely upgraded to the 0.3.0 spec - we
still had some inconsistencies.

However I did quite an extensive review of the spec when I was trying to
work out what was required to upgrade to 0.3.0, and I was satisfied that
the spec has become quite mature and is close to ready to be moved to 1.0.

I'd suggest that before we move to 1.0, we should use the latest context
spec in a testbed and ensure that there are a few clients which support it.

I understand that it wouldn't take much to bring UDig to support the
latest version of Context, Mapbuilder almost supports it, (but we have
recently retired mapbuilder, recommending people use Openlayers
instead). Openlayers still needs some work to support all the Context
layers, but this is quite achievable in the timeframe of a testbed.

multiple OWS types would be useful in clients. As well, the KML
integration makes it all that more appealing! We might also want to
have examples using using OWS Context within a KML document (i.e. in
kml:ExtendedData).
