[Mapbender-users] Hyperlink files

Hi,

I think geoserver as of version 1.6 has a template mechanism that can
be used to provide customized getfeatureinfo results. Thus you could
create a template that has the <a> tag in the template and the href
attribute would be filled when the template is processed (that's how
it's usually done when using mapserver).

Using an onmouseover effect, you would need your data be served as wfs
also from geoserver, then configure the wfs in mapbender using the
useMap module. Thsi let's you easily display text ... directly
displaying images would be harder and would require to tweak the
module.
