Hello Albert,

I added an example Link to my last mail. Here it is again.

Just klick on it and the gui will open:
http://wms1.ccgis.de/mapbender2/frames/login.php?name=ccgis_de&password=ccgis_de&mb_user_myGui=MiddleAmerica&mb_myBBOX=-102.92,11.56,-86.37,25.07

You can add this link to a webside. So the gui will open with this extent.

Your link could look like this (change user and password in the link)
http://mapbender.telascience.org/mapbender_2.5/frames/login.php?name=XXXX&password=XXXX&mb_user_myGui=Albrecht%20Weiser_gui1&mb_myBBOX=342800,552990,3441400,5535600

If you don't want to open the GUI with a link you could change the extent
of the first WMS in the WMS itself or (if you are not master of the WMS)
you could go to the Mapbender database and change the extent.

Best regards

astrid
