Hello Vito,

Mapbender uses PostgreSQl with PostGIS as database for administration.

Mapbender has a modular structure. You could integrate your scripts and
search in your MySQL DB in order to find spatial objects via SQL.

But you will need a Mapbender database in PostgreSQL to administrate the
applications, user and OWS Services.
