<br>
<br>is there any information available about the compatibility betweet
Mapbender 2.7.3 Stable and Postgis? We're currently using Mapbender
2.7.3 and Postgis 2.0.1 with Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS and the UbuntuGIS
Repositories. We tried to implement a Geoserver instance and ran into
some problems with Geoserver <-> Postgis 2.0.1.
<br>Postgis says on their website :
<br>" A lot of deprecated functions were removed from the PostGIS code base
in PostGIS 2.0. This has affected applications in addition to
third-party tools such as Geoserver, MapServer, QuantumGIS, and OpenJump
to name a few. "
<br>See FAQ 3.1 : <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://postgis.refractions.net/docs/PostGIS_FAQ.html">http://postgis.refractions.net/docs/PostGIS_FAQ.html</a>
<br>
<br>We are currently not experiencing any problems with Mapbender <->
Postgis, but we might just not using affected functionality yet. The
Mapbender docs say
<br> nothing about a specific Postgis Version:
<br>"Database ( PostgreSQL >= 8.x with PostGIS)"
<br>See Prerquisite: <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://www.mapbender.org/Installation_en">http://www.mapbender.org/Installation_en</a>
<br>
<br>Is their any documentation available about this?
<br>
