Hello Jörg,
Thanks for your reply. Please find the details of how I downloaded and configured Mapbender.
1. Downloaded the git repository from https://github.com/mapbender/mapbender-starter. (successfully installed all the dependencies)
2. Started the server using the command: cd application and then running app/console server:run
3. Later I configured Mapbender following this link: https://doc.mapbender.org/en/installation/configuration.html
4. Later tried following the Quickstart tutorial, where in I am getting an error in developer mode: (http://localhost/mapbender3/app_dev.php)
I get the error as Page not found. The mapbender server is running at http://127.0.0.1/8080

However when I try running the server it opens up the application page, where I tried following the quick tutorial (not in app_dev).
Just clicking on one of the view button of the application. Eg: http://127.0.0.1/application/mapbender_user_yml (I get the components but not the map view)
>do you see any error-msg in the browser?
The error message from the browser is as follows:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error) js:432
Mapbender Info: Load application's configuration: Internal Server Error
>is the pre-installed application working fine?
Only the mobile applications work fine, the other application reports 500 Internal Server Error.
> can you give us access to the capabilites of your geoserver-wms?
I have the capabilites in localhost.
> are there any hints in the log?
Please find the screenshot from symphony profiler. Couldnt find any error message for the 500 Internal Server error.
When adding the basemap through Geoserver I get no errors in symphony. (I tried removing the basemap source: osm demo) and added my geoserver WMS instance. But doesnt seem to work.
> are you able to load the wms into a desktop-GIS?
Yes I can load the WMS in my QGIS desktop.
Please let me know if I am doing write, as i am new to this.
Thanks
