[mapguide-internals] Release of MGOS 1.2.0

OK, but who's going to commit to creating the 1.2.1 release. Although,
I think the chances are pretty good that we could squeeze one in if
required, I can't guarantee that we will do one. It looks like Bruce and
I are just doing some risk mitigation here: best case a 1.2.1 release,
worst case a patched DLL.

So you approving 1.2.0 or not? :)

It would, but you know how many people would download 1.2.0 and miss the
requirement for the FDO patch...

It would just be our luck that this would be a technically weak user
with a strong voice in the traditional or open source community ;)

I think that putting out a 1.2.1 would be a good thing to do. However,
if we can't do that, then posting a new GDAL FDO provider (assuming the
problem is in there) to fix the problem could also work right?

I have to say that I've been pretty uncomfortable with the release of
1.2.0 because of the ongoing raster issues, which is exacerbated because
we haven't had a PSC meeting in a while or a chance to discuss this.

If we go to release with 1.2.0 without fixing the raster issues, can we
also commit to 1.2.1 raster-bug-fix-only release (without the beta/rc
cycle)?

I believe that Haris may actually have found one of the problems, but
he's gone for a couple weeks now and didn't provide code :(

Speaking of which, I don't think that Andy or Haris will be voting on
this one; they're both out-of-office.

Hi PSC members,

I know our release process says that the final release can occur 2-3
weeks after the final release candidate, but I motion to make RC2 our
final release this Monday barring any severe problems.

One thing that needs to be done is to update the online API docs to the
1.2 version; I think that for this I need to update subversion, then
submit a ticket to SAC to run an update on the site right?

Thanks
Tom
