Hi everyone,

I am currently working on MapGuide 2.2 RC1. Once the RC1 build has been released, I will be spending some time on the GDAL Provider. I would like to send a special thanks to Pacific Alliance Technologies, Explore Australia, Spatial Integrators, and Ennoble Consultancy for funding for the GDAL initiative.

Here's and update and some questions for the 2.2 RC1 build:

I fixed the PostgreSQL FDO library on Linux and am currently working on the FDO 3.5.0 RC2 build.

So far, I have been unable to reproduce the Java web extensions memory leak and have requested more information in the defect.

We should try to standardize the PHP, Apache, Tomcat versions. Linux, Win32, Win64 are a bit out of sync right now:
Linux: Apache 2.2.11, PHP 5.3.1, Tomcat 6.0.14
Win32: Apache 2.2.11, PHP 5.3.2, Tomcat 6.0.14
Win64: Apache 2.2.15, PHP 5.3.1, Tomcat 6.0.26

Current versions are Apache 2.2.16, PHP 5.3.3, Tomcat 6.0.29, Here are some of the release dates:
Apache 2.2.11 (2008-12-14), 2.2.15 (2010-03-06), 2.2.16 (2010-07-25)
PHP 5.3.1 (2010-11-19), 5.3.2 (2010-03-04), 5.3.3 (2010-07-22)
Tomcat 6.0.14 (2007-08-14), 6.0.26 (2010-03-12), 6.0.29 (2010-07-23)

Should we try to standardize on Apache 2.2.15, PHP 5.3.2, and Tomcat 6.0.26? That will only put us 6 months out of date, instead of two to three years.

Note: There could be snag with 64 bit PHP on Windows: we may not be able to find a prebuilt php5isapi.dll for 5.3.2 64bit VS2010.

Regards,
Trevor
