LayerDefinitions have not been previously cached. For large maps, I have
seen initial MgMap createtimes in the 1 to 2 second range. If the
FeatureSource/LayerDefinition docs have been cached, the create time will
go down to roughly 0.2 seconds.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

map cache is flushed? I don't know if generating the MgMap objects is
especially costly, but on a site that has more than 10 tiled maps set up, it's
probably worth being able to see where some additional performance could be
