 I'm generating a lot of code in layer definitions that Maestro does not
 recognize in order to support complex stylization.

 It would be useful if Maestro would warn when opening these hand-tweaked
 resources and prompt the user whether they want to open the XML editor
 instead of the GUI editor.

 I'm worried that either I or one of the other admins here will
 accidentally create some pretty odd layers or not understand why something
 is working the way it is.
