Comment:

 It sounds like STL objects (strings?) are travelling across the MapGuide
 <-> JVM boundaries. This should not be happening or allowed.

 Can you start a new discussion thread on mapguide-internals? This sounds
 like a serious problem that needs some level of discussion.
