[mapguide-users] How can I connect to my server with a WMS connection??

Hi Willem,

One thing that might cause the problem that you are seeing is this:

When installing the new MG Server or MG Studio, you must use these
steps: 

1.                                Uninstall the old one.

2.                                Delete the folder that the old one was
installed in.

3.                                Install the new one.

If you skip step 2, it is possible that old DLLs will remain and affect
the way that the new version works.  This is particularly true with FDO
DLLs.

And what about WFS? 

 

Changing the service type in URL below, results in an error.

If you installed the Sheboygan sample data, then you can try this.
Enter this URL into your web browser (replacing the "localhost" with
your server name if necessary):

 

http://localhost/mapguide/mapagent/mapagent.fcgi?SERVICE=WMS&VERSION=1.0
.0&REQUEST=GetCapabilities

It seems i can connect, but i get a XML error.. To what URL do I
connect? How does this work, is there any info on setting this up?
