[mapguide-users] BLOB and Mapguide OS

I have to meet a client next week , who i got to know has blob data or
something. So far i have been using shp files , sdfs and oracle spatial,
Autodesk Map 3d  , ESRI arc softwares with mapguide
 
  I want to do some homework before my meeting 

  I just wanted to know more about BLOB, what it is , how it can be
incorporated with mapguide opensource
