[mapguide-users] Advantages of storing spatial data in SQL Server

Hi,
What are the advantages of storing Mapguide spatial data in Oracle or SQL
instead of the native storage on the file system ? I was looking at it from
the perspective of stability, digitizing functionality and day to day
management of data.
