[mapguide-users] Newbie in FDO

I'm using King Oracle Provider v0.6.5 and mapguide 1.2 Beta 2. You can
download King Oracle provider from
http://www.sl-king.com/fdooracle/download/download.html, Then copy dll to
C:\Program Files\MapGuideOpenSource\Server\Bin\FDO directory of your
mapguide server. Then, modify your provider .xml  add following lines and
then restart mapguide server:

   <FeatureProvider>
    <Name>King.Oracle.0.1.1</Name>
    <DisplayName>King Provider for Oracle</DisplayName>
    <Description>Read/write access to spatial and attribute data in an
Oracle Spatial.</Description>
    <IsManaged>False</IsManaged>
    <Version>0.1.1.0</Version>
    <FeatureDataObjectsVersion>3.2.0.0</FeatureDataObjectsVersion>
    <LibraryPath>C:\Program
Files\MapGuideOpenSource\Server\Bin\FDO\KingOracleProvider.dll</LibraryPath>
  </FeatureProvider>

When you convert shp to oracle spatial, i suggest you to use fdo2fdo because
i found some error(like can't preview layer using mapguide studio) when i
use shp2sdo from oracle.
to connect to oracle database, watch
