[mapguide-users] .NET connection issue

mgos 1.2 on windows sever 2003 using .net 2.0
verified dotnetviewersample is working fine.
I wrote a "web app" not a "web site"

This has worked perfect for over 10 months using mapguide 1.0, 1.1
I upgraded to 1.2 on a clean machine after recompiling, etc with new dlls.

Now when I connect to my Default.aspx I get:
Cannot establish connection.
- MgSite.Open line 105 file
c:\build_bond_area\mapguide_open_source_v1.2\build_18.1\mgdev\common\mapguidecommon\Services/Site.cpp
- MgSite.Authenticate line 1270 file
c:\build_bond_area\mapguide_open_source_v1.2\build_18.1\mgdev\common\mapguidecommon\Services/Site.cpp
- MgServerConnection.Open line 98 file
c:\build_bond_area\mapguide_open_source_v1.2\build_18.1\mgdev\common\mapguidecommon\Services/ServerConnection.cpp

I noticed the mapagent.exe and php-cgi.exe process were not started (4
start, 4 max in registry)
However, if I restart the www service and then open the dotnetviewersample -
the dotnetviewersample works fine. I then notice that mapagent.exe and
php-cgi.exe are there (4 each)

I can then use my web project with no errors!

It is like the MapGuideApi.MgInitializeWebTier(configPath) is not working.

My webconfig.ini is in the webapp directory not the mapguide directory - but
it finds the location, etc.  They are identical of course.

Any thoughts?
