[mapguide-users] Remove layer from Base layer group

Greetings,
  Using PHP with MGOS 1.2. I can successfully add or remove layers; problem arises when I try to remove a layer from "Base Layers groups". MGOS remove the layer from legend but keep displaying that in the map view. Does anyone have any idea about the possible solution?
