So it makes me wonder what you did different. I uninstalled/reinstalled several times. I still have to try a couple other things.

Hello Ed,

I'm only using the Apache webserver, not IIS. I was getting the same
problems, unable to login to Site Administrator. So it appears the issue
isn't just limited to IIS.
