[mapguide-users] Help regarding Identify nearest landmark to a point

Hi all,
  I wish to if there is any procedure by which one can search a nearest
landmark to a point on the map. Like for e.g.  if we have a point and we
want identify the nearest road to this point. Another similar example to
describe the situation. I am travelling via road and want to know the
location of a nearest gas station.
