Perhaps PHP is not working?
Try from a browser to access:
http://localhost/mapguide/mapagent/mapagent.fcgi
Change the url to match your MapGuide installation.
If everthing works you should get a login box where you can enter the
username and password. If this is accepted you get a white page. if not you
will get an error of some kind.
