That book looks like some sort of fake to me.  I think the best resources
right now are the following (this is not an exhaustive list, I am sure there
are other resources out there...feel free to chime in).  You may find
limited resources that are step by step guides on what you specifically want
or need to accomplish.  After reading up a bit, you might want to post a
specific question back to the users group.
