You can't create symbol libraries in Maestro, you can only pick symbols from
them, and that's only for basic stylization.

You can't use symbol definitions for point/line/area styles. Only composite
styles (advanced stylization) can use symbol definitions. 

Studio makes this easy because they've figured out the UI for doing this. I
