[mapguide-users] unable to logon Mapguide : ACE.dll failed

Hi,

Roza : with a setup with virtual directory mapguide2 and harddisk mapguide2, Error 559 in maestro and mapadmin is failing with always ACE.dll module path failing in windows log event,

Jackie : with depends walker,


  1.  Do you have old MapGuide installation directories on the PATH environment variable?

No, it’s a new system and it was before the first installation (now, there were lot of install/uninstall…)



  1.  If you run Process Monitor and listen on mgserver.exe or w3wp.exe, is it loading the correct ACE.dll?
Yes, for the twice : mgserver.exe run with the ACE.DLL in the mgserver.exe directory, w3wp.exe run with the ACE.DLL in the mapagent directory, php-cgi.exe run with the ACE.DLL in the php directory

 3. If you run Dependency Walker and load ACE.dll, are all of its dependencies satisifed?
For 2.5.2 : API-MS-WIN-CORE-KERNEL32-PRIVATE-L1-1-1.DLL, API-MS-WIN-CORE-PRIVATEPROFILE-L1-1-1.DLL, API-MS-WIN-SERVICE-PRIVATE-L1-1-1.DLL depends tell are missing

        But it’s same for 3.0.0 and 3.1.0 that are turning good !



MapGuide 2.5.2 and newer require .net 4.0, on my windows 8.1 it’s.net 4.5, can it be the reason ?

For information, each time I start the mapguide 2.5.2 service, I have this message in error.log :
