understand that the viewer samples initiate a session when they are initially
loaded using hardcoded values. This works fine, but if you leave the map
alone for too long (the DWF version anyway) it times out with an error
message, and the only way to get it back appears to be to refresh the

see this being an issue with our front counter PCs which typically have MapGuide
loaded in a browser window all the time, but that window might not be used for
