MapGuide Open Source Release 1.0?<BR></FONT><BR></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<P>Hi,</P>
<P>I have been building a website all weekend (for a demo on
Tuesday) and I have encountered a critical problem several times with
the MapGuide service (only solution is to create a package and uninstall -
restore my server back to a previous state before MapGuide). I installed
MapGuide Release 1.0 with Web server extensions (using all of the defaults with
PHP) on Windows 2000 Server SP4 with Apache and on several occasions
the services shuts itself down and then I receive a error message that
states</P>
<P>"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library</P>
<P>Program: C:\Program F...</P>
<P>This applicaton has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual
way."</P>
<P>The Event Viewer states a Doctor Watson message</P>
<P>"The application, , generated an application error The error occurred on
04/09/2006 @ 21:21:06.125 The exception generated was c0000005 at address
0115E529 (MgOgcFilterUtil::process_geometry)"</P>
<P>The next message in the event viewer states:</P>
<P>"The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( MapGuide Server ) cannot be
found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or
message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following
information is part of the event: Server started. ."</P>
<P>Again this is odd as the application was working fine just minutes before -
this usually happens after I have been in Studio for a while.</P>
<P>This occurs after the installation and server have been working well for
hours. I am beginning to think that maybe the Studio tool is corrupting
something as I have been spending all of my time in this tool and then viewing
the maps in the browser.</P>
<P>I have attached my MapGuide Server logs (zip). Hopefully the message
daemon does not strip it off.</P>
