Hi,

No there was no error log and no I was not doing anything with the WFS component of MapGuide. I have the WFS configured but I was not calling it.

Any other ideas to trouble shoot this one?

>
> Hi,
>
> Was there an Error.log -- your zip only contains Access and Admin
> logs?
> The function mentioned by Dr Watson
> (MgOgcFilterUtil::process_geometry)would only be getting called if
> you are making a WFS query with a
> spatial filter, so it makes no sense for it to be crashing the server
> when it's sitting idle. Were you doing WFS requests by any chance?
>
>
> Traian
>
>
> _____
>
> From: ross s [mailto:r0ss@shaw.ca]
> Sent: Sunday, April 09, 2006 11:26 PM
> To: users@mapguide.osgeo.org
> Subject: [mapguide-users] Major Issue with MapGuide Open Source
> Release1.0?
>
>
>
> Hi,
>
> I have been building a website all weekend (for a demo on Tuesday)
> and I
> have encountered a critical problem several times with the MapGuide
I installed
> MapGuideRelease 1.0 with Web server extensions (using all of the
> defaults with
> PHP) on Windows 2000 Server SP4 with Apache and on several
> occasions the
> services shuts itself down and then I receive a error message that
> states
>
> "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
>
> Program: C:\Program F...
>
> This applicaton has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an
> unusualway."
>
> The Event Viewer states a Doctor Watson message
>
> "The application, , generated an application error The error
> occurred on
> 04/09/2006 @ 21:21:06.125 The exception generated was c0000005 at
> address 0115E529 (MgOgcFilterUtil::process_geometry)"
>
The following information is part of the event: Server
> started. ."
>
> Again this is odd as the application was working fine just minutes
> before - this usually happens after I have been in Studio for a while.
>
> This occurs after the installation and server have been working
> well for
> hours. I am beginning to think that maybe the Studio tool is
> corruptingsomething as I have been spending all of my time in this
> tool and then
> viewing the maps in the browser.
>
> I have attached my MapGuide Server logs (zip). Hopefully the message
