way Enterprise gets the new schema information back to you in Studio. I
created a new spatial table and it took quite sometime just to get the
table to appear. I had to go out and come back in and then create a whole
new layer from scratch. Same goes for adding new columns. I
had to totally re-create a layer just to get a new column to show

<P><FONT size=2>Can anyone provide some feedback to me on their experiences with
the Oracle<BR>Spatial FDO from the Enterprise edition? Has anyone gotten it to
work in a<BR>satisfactory manner? Are you seeing stability/performance issues?
What is<BR>your setup?<BR><BR>Our experiences aren't great. Some of our
data displays but is quite slow.<BR>Creating a layer from an Oracle Spatial
source is extremely slow (over a<BR>minute just to start editing). I suspect
this is related to the reading of<BR>the schema metadata, but I don't really
