style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Garamond;color:black'>Hello List,

i want to rename several layers (geometry) within a project in a
way, that all the connections keep alive to the data which are create with the
import of original data, and later on when i created a map, etc.

This is necessary because i distribute maps via wms an the wms-client on the
other side uses of course the
layernames within mgo server and not the names i introduced in the assembly of
the map within studio.

And now i´m looking for a smart solution to do this. Otherwise i have to go the
long way and reload
everthing and give a more usefull, in this case shorter name.

Does someone have a proposal around this problem to solve? <font
