tooltip. I played with it for awhile on my end and could not replicate
that using HTML <table> elements. It may have to do with the speed
of the data retrieval through FDO during the individual AJAX call backs.
If it is slow enough to respond, I could see where the behavior may be similar
to what I'm seeing with images.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

flickering tooltip on IE without referencing an image. In my case, I was trying
to display a two-column <table> element with a few rows, displaying a set
of property/value pairs for the selected object. On Firefox it works great, on
IE the tooltip flashes continuously. Have you seen this

more like a year) ago. When images are referenced in the tooltip for a
layer, the <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">AJAX</st1:place></st1:City>
viewer with Internet Explorer can yield some very odd results. If it takes
too long for the image to be returned, say more than 4 or 5 seconds, it's like
it tries to call the image again and then this causes a loop which makes the
tooltip to appear to blink. For an example that I just ran into, see
