sources all along and where I have seen the performance problems. In the
Trac ticket, it looks like you were referring to the old manual way of doing it

but I think you have to also have Studio 2008 beta in order to see these new
features exposed. When you create a new Data Connection in Studio, you can
now choose the SHP or SDF providers and then configure that feature source to
point to a file or folder. The files or folders visible to choose from
come directly from external file aliases.</SPAN></FONT><o:p></o:p></P>

I have created one for SHP, SDF and Raster and when I load Studio I don’t see
