<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Tahoma">I'm new to MapGuide and indeed to GIS. I'm trying to follow the Getting Started guide and I wonder if you can give me any guidance on the development language to choose. I know a bit of PHP and a lot of Java, but I was wondering if choosing java would cause me problems in terms of running sample applications and getting support.</FONT></P>
