Usually this happens because the preview shows the wrong part of the
map (where there is no data).<br>
Try creating a map, and set the map extents to match your data.<br>

In the end I was putting the sample in the wrong location which ment it was
calling the mapviewerajax from the wrong location.
Now I am working with a demo MapGuide Studio and trying to get a simple .shp
file loaded.
The data and layer were loaded fine. The layer's preview shows what I was
expecting.
I have tried to create a map based on the layer and the map preview shows
nothing.
Does anyone have some tips that could help me with this?
