What version of Maestro are you using (Click Help -> About)?<br>

I have just tried reproducing in 1.0.8.27399 and I have no problems
creating line styles.<br>
You should be able to click the green plus sign, and then alter the
line display style.<br>

the same field contains "GEOMETRY"
Someone can explain me the correct way to add a shape?
Sorry for my questions (and for my english), but I started with WEBGIS
just few days ago.
