The reason you are not seeing the the messagebox in the older version
of Maestro is because<br>
the resource validator was not implemented then. I recommend sticking
to the preview, as it <br>
has multiple bugfixes, and you can get around your current issue by
pressing <enter>.<br>

For your next issue, the featuresource is a WMS type, which means that<br>
the output is a raster type. For some reason the layer editor displays<br>
the vector layer editor. Since there is no vector data, you cannot
select a geometry column.<br>

I have no idea why the WMS featuresource would be interpreted as a
vector featuresource,<br>
but if the featuresource you are using is the nasa one, I can test it
and hopefully fix it in a few days.<br>
