<div>It would be useful to try to narrow down what is causing the server to become unresponsive. A couple things might help diagnose this:</div><div><br></div><div>- Output of "netstat -an" on all the web and mapguide servers.</div>
<div><br></div><div>- Output of the GetFdoCacheInfo call on the MapGuide server. Not sure if this would still be available on the web tier when the server is unresponsive though, or how you would access it otherwise.</div>
<div><br></div><div>- Any error messages from the MapGuide logs.</div><div><br></div><div>When the server fails, it just becomes unresponsive, right? How long have you waited for it to time out? Have you tried lowering timeouts for FDO cache and for server connections to see whether the service eventually comes back? Or turning off FDO connection caching entirely as an experiment (performance will suck, but at least it could help pinpoint the problem).</div>
<div><br></div><div>In general, joins are still not very performant. If possible, you'd be better off reading the geometry and data from a view in the database if your database supports spatial types.</div><div><br>

<p class="MsoNormal">I thought MGO2.2 is fixed to handle around 500 connections at the same time compared to 64 connections in MGO2.1.</p>
