<pre wrap="">Hi Anil,
The "building" guide for CentOS 5.4 <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://trac.osgeo.org/mapguide/wiki/CompilingMapGuide22Centos54">http://trac.osgeo.org/mapguide/wiki/CompilingMapGuide22Centos54</a> lists all of the CentOS packages required to build and run MapGuide. You will probably need the "lib" versions of lines two and three:
yum install libjpeg libpng fontconfig freetype
yum install libxml2 expat curl libxslt openldap
There is also an RC1 binary build for CentOS 5.4(+) posted on OSGeo <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://download.osgeo.org/mapguide/releases/2.2.0/RC1/mapguideopensource-2.2.0.5197-centos5.tar.gz">http://download.osgeo.org/mapguide/releases/2.2.0/RC1/mapguideopensource-2.2.0.5197-centos5.tar.gz</a>
Regards,
Trevor

Hi, I had no trouble on 5.4 but haven't tried 5.5
Download the MapGuide 2.2 Beta from
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://trac.osgeo.org/mapguide/wiki/Release/2.2Beta/Notes">http://trac.osgeo.org/mapguide/wiki/Release/2.2Beta/Notes</a>
Unzip the 2 tar balls
Run the ./mgserverd.sh and ./apachectl start to get MapGuide and Apache
running.
