<div>Good day,</div><div>Most often I have seen this happen with corrupt .idx files but you indicated that you have deleted them. Just to make sure, I'd stop the Mapguide service, delete the idx files and restart.</div>
<div>Alternatively, Kori had pointed out a solution in this link: <a href="http://osgeo-org.1803224.n2.nabble.com/Shape-Files-and-Joins-td4611381.html#a4621570">http://osgeo-org.1803224.n2.nabble.com/Shape-Files-and-Joins-td4611381.html#a4621570</a>. Null values are definitely a pain, so try to catch them in both the database (ISNULL in SQL Server) and in the shp files you process nightly.</div>
<div>Good luck,</div><div>Jonathon<br><br></div><div class="gmail_quote">On Mon, Jun 6, 2011 at 10:47 AM, jamsea <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:thejamsea@gmail.com">thejamsea@gmail.com</a>></span> wrote:<br><blockquote style="margin: 0px 0px 0px 0.8ex; padding-left: 1ex; border-left-color: rgb(204, 204, 204); border-left-width: 1px; border-left-style: solid;" class="gmail_quote">
Thanks for the reply, I've tried deleting the idx files but the problem still<br>
happens. The data I am joining will be updated daily so combining it with<br>
the shape file directly isn't an option. I've also tried to convert the<br>
shape file to sql and do the join at the database level but I could never<br>
get it to work.<br>
<br>
It seems like its the number of elements on the screen that concerns<br>
mapguide rather than the actual scale. I have a similar join setup with<br>
another layer with less elements, and mapguide allows me to zoom out much<br>
further before it stops showing the filter.<br>
