when will we see MGOS supporting them?

I have tried to test MySQL 5.6 with MGOS 2.4, but it appears to not to have
enabled the new functions. I did replaced the libmysql.dll with MySQL 5.6's
copy to no avail. Did I made a mistake somewhere and MGOS 2.4 does in fact
can support MySQL 5.6's new functions? If not, when can we expect support?

Thank you.
