<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">It turns out that Windows Authentication was getting in the way. This appears to have been enabled by default on the main mapguide virtual directory. As a domain user, I had access to the site, so the administration
page worked. Maestro and Studio were sending the MapGuide credentials, and the web server misinterpreted them as windows credentials. Disabling Windows Authentication on the mapguide virtual directory fixed the problem and all is well now. Thanks!!</span></p>

account which is something you’ll be doing for security reasons anyway.</span></p>
