Just a thought here...there have been some surveys and questions
asked before about what versions we're all running, and why we're
not on the latest (some are on some pretty old builds). For me, one
major reason I'm never on the latest isn't to do with stability, but
rather the installer.

I'd love to always be bleed edge, but the installer has always made
that life difficult because of the lack of upgrades. When I'd heard
that MGOS would start having some minor releases, I was excited
because I thought that those would be upgrades...finally fixing the
installer problem that had stopped me from migrating.

So, when I excitedly checked the release notes for this release, I
saw that you actually can't actually upgrade from 2.5...so you now
have to uninstall and reinstall for every minor release. Is there
any plan to make the installer handle upgrades? Maybe this isn't a
concern for most - but to me, if you want user adoption, being able
to do upgrades is a path that needs to be gone down. Just my 2
cents, anyway!
