<div dir="ltr"><div>Thanks for the WMS service URL. However I could not reproduce the problem. Mainly because I couldn't find a layer with a dot in its name amongst the several hundred WMS layers provided by that service.</div><div><br></div><div>Can you provide the exact layer name (as indicated in their WMS capabilities XML) that is giving you grief? Because I can't find it and I don't want to waste time doing trial and error on a WMS service that has several hundred layers.</div><div><br></div><div>Also for reference, this is what I did.</div><div><br></div><div>1. Connect to my MG 4.0 beta 2 server with MapGuide Maestro</div><div>2. Create a WMS feature source</div><div>3. Connect to the given service URL</div><div>4. Click Advanced on the WMS Feature Source editor to have it build a default configuration document and bring up the advanced configuration dialog.</div><div>5. This config document as-is could not be saved as the MG server complains about log buffer size full (probably because we're trying to save a Feature Source with a several MB XML configuration document. So I implemented some QoL improvements to this WMS config UI (<a href="https://github.com/jumpinjackie/mapguide-maestro/issues/154">https://github.com/jumpinjackie/mapguide-maestro/issues/154</a>) to allow us to trim out a whole bunch of feature classes, resulting in a slimmer configuration document before saving.</div><div>6. Once configured, I saved the feature source</div><div>7. I then set up a Layer Definition pointing to this new Feature Source. Barring a few feature classes (geodati_base_* in particular) pretty much any feature class I pointed this layer defn at was previewable.</div><div><br></div><div>- Jackie</div><div><br></div>You wrote:<div><pre style="color:rgb(0,0,0)">Hi,
