Hi Ari and Martyn,

Sorry for my late reply and inactivity on the mailing list until the php2shell mitigation announcement. I honestly haven't been monitoring the mailing list for months and have been focusing on actual FDO and MapGuide work.

To answer your question, 4.0.1 will bundle PHP 8.3.36 (or newer version at the time of actual release), so it will already be insulated against php2shell when it releases.

Due to the volume of changes I'm landing into FDO and MapGuide, I'm a bit hesitant to just put out 4.0.1, so I will be doing this as a 2-parter:

A 4.0.1-Test release (looking at early November release). I would like users to try this release and just make sure that nothing has regressed. I will allow for 2-3 weeks to iron out any issues found from users testing the 4.0.1-Test release.

After that, I will put out 4.0.1 proper, currently looking at late November for this one.

Hope that answers your questions.

- Jackie

You wrote:

Hello,
I'm also interested in PHP version in next release.
